My sweet friend, Bethany, gave birth to the most precious baby girl back in February. Her name is Ella and I love her. She is a gift long awaited for and so, so dearly loved!
After going to the baby shower and occasionally asking Bethany what they were deciding to name their baby girl, the name wasn’t officially revealed until the brith. Bethany confessed to me that she and Torey tried to come up with a name that they both agreed on all the way up until she was in the hospital. There were a few names that they liked but could never officially agree on. That is until they were in the hospital, preparing for her birth when Torey looked at her and said, “it’s Ella” and that’s how it was decided. We giggled about it but it couldn’t be a more perfect fit.
Ella Kay. Not long in this world, yet already a permenant part in the lives of her parents. That’s the beautiful thing about newborns. Small and ever changing. Needy and completely wrapped around our hearts as soon as they entire our lives.
