Jake + Taylor were so much fun to hang out with and get to know a bit for their engagement session this summer. We planned for Indy to be the setting of their session with a couple of their favorite hangout spots (Pins, Lockerbie Square, and West Fork Whiskey) which were definitely exciting and totally new to me. Our little family has totally gotten out of the habit of doing anything downtown since having our baby girl and outings are fairly rare so I personally loved getting to explore and photograph some really fun and pretty downtown Indy hot spots. We made it all our own and embraced the activity around us as we shot through the evening going from one cool spot to the next. My favorite part was ending at West Fork Whiskey where Jake + Taylor picked up their precious pup (since they live so close) and we finished out the evening as the sun set behind the buildings. It was a warm and humid evening but we made the most of it, laughed a lot, and enjoyed all that the lovely Indianapolis has to offer. I can not wait for their wedding to come next year because these two are just really great to work with. Enjoy this preview of their Lockerbie Square engagement session!
