This year started off with a bang and then totally turned sideways mid March. No one could have predicted what was about to happen and it certainly changed the course of work for me in the spring. What is typically the second busiest season (after fall) for my photography schedule, March-May ended up being empty and filled with tons of house projects. No joke, we painted the whole outside of our house, a bedroom, and the sunroom. It’s safe to say I am tired of painting at this point. 😉
Thankfully during the last bit of May, things started to clear up a bit allowing us to do spring minis. They were postponed a few times but when they did finally happen, it was the most beautiful spring day! You could tell everyone was so happy to get out of their homes and to see other people. I couldn’t stop smiling because isolation was a super tough thing to endure. Finally being allowed to do work again after weeks of nothing was a huge gift! I missed photographing my people!!
