Friends, it has been way too long since I did a complete overhaul on my website, 2017 to be exact. After suffering from a bit of burnout towards the end of 2019, I knew I needed to make it a priority to take some time off. Honestly, I am so glad that I did because the time off was such a necessity and a couple of weeks into it, I started to feel rested up and ready to dream new dreams for 2020!
I’d been thinking about a new website for a while as well as a possible rebrand for my business but with as busy as 2019 was, I just couldn’t see a time to make it happen. Well, a couple of weeks of no scheduled work, lots of family time, and cold weather to keep you cooped up will do the trick! My new website is live and ready to be shared with you all!
As far as the rebrand goes, I opted not to completely change my focus but instead “refresh” it if you will with a more specific vision focused on telling intentional stories on digital and film mediums. For almost two years, I have been slowly integrating film into my work and it felt time to make things a bit more official online and in my branding/marketing. I will be sharing more of this part of the refresh in another blog post but for now just know that I am so excited to see where this takes Life By Lex Photography in 2020.
