Katlin and Dan were set up by a long time friend of Katlin’s. Her friend was dating someone at the time who knew of someone that might be a good match for Katlin. The two couples made the match and ironically are both either married or soon-to-be married to each other. I love how simple the match-making was and how sweetly both Katlin and her friend found the person they will do life with together!
Katlin (and her friend) work at the school my mom is the principal at so I was very excited when I found out that she and Dan got engaged! Dan works at SDI and the two are the proud owners of an adorable beagle named Luigi. Dan decided to bring his Corvette along to the session which was awesome! He even confessed to having over 90 different vehicles in his life span including cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, airplanes(!), four wheelers, and so on. We planned the session at Stone Creek Lodge which is where they will be getting married next summer. Rain clouds were rolling in but instead of rescheduling, we bumped the session up a little and were even surprised with a snipit of beautiful sunlight at the very end.
