Something I’m not very good at is editing, sharing, and printing my own personal images. When your job is to do that all day long, the last thing you want to do after work is over is edit more photos. With the push of my mom who wanted a few updated photos of our family to have in her office before school started, I finally got around to working on our vacation photos and I’m really glad I did!

Here are a few of my favorites from our family vacation to Nashville, Tennessee. We loved the short drive there, all of the different restaurants to choose from, and the cornucopia of activities available. Mostly we spent time at the house swimming, grilling out and playing games which are our typical favorites.

Highlights:

We always rent a house and were so excited that this one had a pool! It was the one requirement we were looking for in our search for a rental.  All of the guys decided they wanted to dive through that tiny float. Surprisingly each of them fit without popping it!  I seriously love these images. I took them on my phone and will cherish them forever! Amarese is not the most affectionate girl so when she gave me a kiss on the check, I almost died!!    The guys loved playing different games in the front yard each night.   Dana’s turn to dive through it!      A rare smile.  This was my personal favorite game. In a tournament, I scored the most points by hitting the balls onto a floating matt!  The pool provided the most entertainment!   We always have to get one photo of us all. I forgot my tripod so I had to set my camera on a chair!  Love these two!        This selfie-stick made several appreances throughout the trip.     The guys being themselves.      I was excited to get to visit the Opryland Hotel again after coming when I was in high school.  It was decorated like Alice In Wonderland which was really fun!   Hattie B’s was delicious!!  One of my favorite parts of the trip was going to the Jack Daniel’s Distillery. I didn’t bring my camera so everything pictured was from my phone. It was such a neat experience!

On the morning of our last night, I got to meet up with a fellow photographer from the Nashville area at a park and photograph her and her family. The park had beautiful landscaping that I loved photographing!  On our last night, a few of us when downtown to check out the strip.  My dad was really excited to go to the Johnny Cash Museum. We visited his grave while were there earlier in the week.
