Upon arrival, the forecast was less than ideal with spotted showers and overcast clouds. That didn’t stop the groom from having a giant smile on his face as we walked through the door. And the ladies were just as chipper finishing their hair and makeup with laughter and joy. Saylor was slightly stressed about the weather, especially after having so many concerns about their wedding in general due to the virus, but we were determined to make the most of the day and honestly, it was absolutely beautiful.
From the dainty little details to the gorgeous vintage-set florals, everything came together for Scott + Saylor! The Carriage House of Yorktown was a stunning backdrop with excellent staff who worked incredibly hard to provide the most special day for the lucky couple. And on top of all that, they were able to have their ceremony outside without any rain! We felt incredibly blessed to take part in photographing their day. Despite the little bumps in the road along the way, it was a stunning wedding for a sweet and well-deserved couple.
