Just a few shorts weeks ago in June, our family went on a trip to Northern Michigan. The address of our house was in Harbor Springs but we also frequented Petoskey as well as a few other small surrounding towns. It was our first time way up north and we totally fell in love with the area! So many cute shops, ice cream parlors, trails, and sporting activities were available to us. On a number of days we had ice cream twice which is just how we like our vacations!
We loved visiting the Petoskey State Park where the water was so blue and beautiful. Pretty to see but not to touch, it was freezing! Some of our other favorite parts of the trip were the grand homes sitting along Lake Michigan and all of the adorable shops with pretty flowers and window boxes.
