Be prepared to see lots of color, ocean, and pictures of the ship. It was a reoccurring theme throughout the trip. As most cruises typically go, we had a lot of fun eating more than we ever thought possible, drinking every drink on the menu and exploring islands in the Bahamas.
Before heading out on the ship, we spent a short day in Miami as well as at the end of our trip before heading home. After boarding, our first stop was Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, where we explored the city on foot, toured a rum distillery, and ate at the fish market before heading back to the ship. Our second stop was at Half Moon Cay where the water was bluer than I’ve ever seen. Clay and I stopped there on our honeymoon so it was fun to see it again. Our last stop was at Grand Turk which is the capital of the Turks and Cacaos islands. It was small, had tons of little stores, and was probably our favorite. We ate lunch and swam at Margaritaville and then our final night was spent at sea. As you can see for yourself, we tried to take some formal photos of us dressed up but it was so windy on the deck! Having shot this entire trip all on film, you never know what you get until it is developed. Needless to say, some of the formal photos didn’t make the cut due to crazy hair and a blowing dress. The rest will be cherished in rememberance of our trip!
