This is a session I will always cherish. First of all, I convinced Gabe + Tess to let me take their pictures in Grand Rapids (where they live) instead of in Indy (where they will be getting married). Second of all, I got to explore Grand Rapids with my mom and pretend like we were on a mini vacation making my traveling photographer dreams come true. Best of all, we fretted and prayed over the weather all the way up until the session and ended up being blessed with sunshine and the most magnificent Michigan nature and city backdrops. It was an adventure and I’m so incredibly grateful for the experience of it all.
Here is a little bit about the couple. They met while attending Taylor University. At that time, they were in the same friend group and remained friends after graduating. Gabe moved up to Grand Rapids, Michigan for work and after completing her PA schooling at Bulter, Tess took a job and followed him there. The rest is history and the two are set to marry at the Regions Tower in downtown Indianapolis next spring.
