Small town businesses are my sweet spot. Maybe because I own a small business myself or maybe because they are so personable. Either way, they are just so special and deserve a spotlight every once in a while!
Susie Birdsong is a longtime family friend and owner of Country Hearts And Flowers in downtown Crawfordsville, Indiana. The previous owner decided to sell just over a year ago and since Susie had worked there for years, she decided to take the plunge and buy the well-loved little shop!
I personally love popping in to look for gifts and even just for a bouquet of flowers to fragrance our house with. Susie has been in the process of putting her own spin on arrangements and transitioning the shop into something more reflective of her. It really is an adorable shop and I give my highest regards to Susie and her crew. They can make anything you want so it’s definitely worth the stop if you ask me!
