Over the course of my business, I have shot all types of sessions. I think that is part of exploring the field as a photographer in determining what you want to focus on. Early on in my career, I knew that I didn’t want to become a senior photographer just because I didn’t feel called in that direction.
Of course, I have had the pleasure of photographing several seniors over the years, primarily of family friends but it wasn’t until last fall that my heart started to open up to the idea of scheduling more of these types of sessions. It is something special to be the one to memorialize such a big moment in someone else’s life. One of my favorite parts about photographing seniors is getting to talk to them about their future.
Being a senior photographer primarily still isn’t something I want to become. However, I love having the opportunity to try something new, change my perspective, step outside the box which is why this offer is a part of the February Booking Specials.
