As we arrived at their wedding on a Friday afternoon, it was clear that the day was going to be bright and sun-filled at Hidden Hollow Farm in Crawfordsville, IN. JB and Julie were finally going to be married while surrounding themselves with their closest family and friends.
As I mentioned in their engagement session HERE, they both live out of state so most of the wedding was planned at a distance. But that didn’t stop Julie from covering the barn from head to toe with details that reflected their rustic wedding. Everywhere you looked there were DIY touches all the way from the bouquets to the boutonnieres, from the table scape to the coloring pages laid out for kids, from the trail mix table to the assorted cupcake tiers and beyond. This girl went all out and it was spectacular!
Beyond the intricate details, Hidden Hollow Farm provided the perfect setting for the marriage of an amazing couple. Between the tears from Julie’s grandma and mother as they huddled together for comfort to the smile spread across JB and Julie’s faces as they walked back down the isle as husband and wife. What a beautiful day and an even more beautiful evening as the sun went down and showered us with dreamy light as we shot their bride and groom portraits. It was an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to document such a special moment in the lives of such a sweet couple.
Julie’s parents bought her this beautiful necklace. Such a beautiful bride! That light! Is she not the cutest flower girl! Hidden Hollow Farm did not disappoint! Everything was covered with DIY details. Julie did an amazing job!!
