Well, I am finally getting around to blogging these photos taken all the way back in March. I along with my photog friend, Victoria, snapped these of our studio office after it had finally been “finished”. I use quotations marks because this space has already slightly changed since these were taken. This room fulfills a lot of different roles at varying times of the year so it is constantly changing and new things are being added/taken out all of the time.
It primarily is used as my office/workspace when I need to edit sessions and work on the business. I store all of my equipment in this room when I’m not shooting. In the winter and occasionally throughout the year, it acts as a makeshift studio where clients can come in and be photographed by me in a beautiful, neutral space. Then on occasion, when we have friends and family over and someone decides to spend the night, it acts as a guest bedroom which is kind of my favorite part about it.
As far as the transformation goes, all we really had to do was strip wallpaper and lay flooring. It was done in a series of stages and is now a fun transitional space that gets used often which is why we decided to tackle it second after the kitchen.
