Our Little House || Kitchen Transformation

May 15, 2019

This post is long over-due since the kitchen has been done for a few weeks. The majority of it has been done even longer than that but it needed a few finishing touches of paint and trim of which I totally procrastinated. Plus, we ended up getting a semi-new dishwasher from my parents all of which delayed me in blogging the transformation. All that to say, it is finally done and we love it!

As far as the transformation process went, we didn’t have the budget to gut the kitchen so instead, we opted to change the things we could that were within budget and that would have the biggest impact. Most of those were superficial changes like paint, hardware, a new countertop, and sink. We loved the layout of the kitchen and knew that by sticking with simple updates, we could really transform the space into something that was pretty, functional, and budget-conscious.

It’s a pretty small kitchen and there are still things that we would love to change but part of transforming spaces has a lot to do with time and money which aren’t abundant in our house hold. 😉 Nonetheless, we love how it turned out and even more so, using it to serve our family and others. Scroll all the way to the bottom to see the before photos. They are pretty shocking if you ask me and help put me in my place when I start to wish for something different.
