Helping me kick off the engagement and wedding season this year was Melissa + David. It could not have been a more perfect session! Despite the late arrival of spring and the cool winds that kept us on our toes, we managed to find a few blooms and make the best of the beautiful light on Purdue University’s campus in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Plus, I haven’t even really talked about these two yet. They have decided to plan their wedding in a shorter amount of time than what is typical, but you would hardly notice (you go guys!). They are calm, collected, and so totally in love. We chatted about how they met, what their honeymoon plans are (still to be decided but they did throw out some really amazing ideas), and even reminisced about their college days where they may have crossed paths before even knowing each other. It really is a small world after all. I am so pumped for their wedding day and can hardly wait for them to officially pick their honeymoon destination, I mean get married. Traveling will always get me excited even if it is someone else doing the traveling. 😉
