One of my goals this past fall was to take the time and seek the beauty in the ordinary and mundane moments in my life. For me, it manifested itself with the use of my first ever film camera and documenting the everyday ordinary things I experienced. Some images of which you will see below.
It is easy to look at what the world calls beautiful, compare it to your own life and find yourself coming up short, but I think we are missing out on a joyful and abundant life by not allowing God to determine what is beautiful, even if it’s the most mundane of things.
My challenge to you is to take the next 30 days and look for the beautiful things that God has placed in your life and called you to as an individual. Photograph them, and put them in an album on your phone so that whenever you feel less than, you can flip through the folder and be reminded of the beautiful things in your life that may seem ordinary, but are truly divine in nature, specifically placed there by God.
